101 in 1001

*image 1
I love blogging. Not only writing my own blog, but reading other peoples blogs. I have a few blogs I read religiously, and I have some I keep in mind and peek at every now and then. One of the blogs I love is Design Darling. She is so inspiring to me!
On her blog, Mackenzie Horan created a list called 101 in 1001. The list consist of 101 things she'd like to complete in 1001 days (2.75 years). I am a total list person so I thought this idea was great! It's a way to create a list of obtainable goals while also marking some things off of my bucket list!
I created my own 101 in 1001 list that I will post.
I also created a tab at the top of the page to make the list easier to find. I hope by putting my list on the blog I will hold myself more accountable.

Top 5 Pinterest Pins

I have been slacking on my blog posting again. It really has been a long time since I've posted anything!  So I've graduated from college and am now currently working part time with two jobs as I search for my career. In my spare time I am now consumed by wedding planning. The wedding is only 4 months away now! I can't believe it! We will be getting our first home in less than a month. Needless to say, a lot has been going on since my last post.
Of course I still make time for Pinterest, so I thought I would share
what has been catching my eye lately.

1.This monogrammed pullover is perfect! I am obsessed with monograms! Since I am going to get married soon I love to get my new initials put on EVERYTHING!
The colors of this pullover are perfect!

2. How great is this color?!? I love rain boots, but the color is what got me hooked to this lovely pair. I believe I will add these onto my list of must haves!

3. I love to eat sushi! Like seriously, I can make a meal out of just sushi. I haven't branched out a lot though when it comes to trying new types of sushi. I'm so afraid of what I might be ordering because I never know what it looks like until I get my plate. I have found that the California Rolls are my favorite. I get them every time I eat sushi. Luckily, I came across this fabulous recipe that I HAD to try. They turned out perfect! I'm definitely keeping this recipe handy.

4. While on a vacation recently, I came across one of these lovely mug sweaters as I like to call them. I didn't but it and I have regretted it ever since (especially when I burn my hand from my coffee cup being to hot to hold!) I would love to learn how to crochet to be able to make these, but I get confused on the whole thing. They easily slide on and off of your mug so they would be easy to use all the time! I'm in love!

5. I have mentioned before that I will be getting married soon, and I think this necklace would be the perfect accessory for me after the wedding. I honestly love everything about it. I think it's perfect! The size is perfect for wearing alone or for layering. The silver makes it easy to match all my outfits. I think I should put this on my list of must haves too!
This would be so cute to wear while on our honeymoon.

Top 5 Pinterest Pins

June has really been kicking my tail. I signed up to take two class this month and it really is getting the best of me. Both classes are only 4-week class so I will be done with them in two weeks. Since the class do only last for 4 weeks there is a lot of information and assignments crammed in. I still work too of course. I am struggling to find a balance between school and work. I keep wanting to have my "lazy" time, but I just don't have time for it anymore. By the time I figure out how to manage my time better with these classes they will already be over!
I have been able to get on Pinterest lately when I am avoiding doing homework done with my assignments.
Here are my top five favorite pins this week:
1. Chevron Nails
I think these nails are super cute! At my job I am not allowed to have my nails painted unless it is just white tips. I love finding cute nail designs though for when I can actually paint my nails again!

2. Advil Liqui-Gels as an acne treatment

Unfortunately I still get acne. I have tried to figure out why I still get it so bad, but I have not found an answer. I saw this pin on Pinterest that said you could use a pin to poke a hole in an Advil Liqui-Gel then put the liquid on the pimple. It is suppose to take away the redness and swelling. I did it last night before I went to bed and this morning I did notice that my pimple was not swollen as much. It was still red though, but it's a start!

3. This quote:

I just feel like this quote has a good point. I think it would be neat to have this framed somewhere in my bedroom or bathroom.

4. I love this DIY project:

It's a timeline of important dates in a relationship. I would love to do this for me and Ben. We have been together 6 years so it would be interesting to see how much we have changed over the years. We aren't getting married until next year, so I will make this DIY then!

5. DIY Bathroom Organization

I absolutely love the look of these shelves for the bathroom! My counter top is very cluttered so this would be a great and cute way I could organize all of my stuff. These shelves are just crown molding! I could put my lotion, hair products, and perfumes on these shelves. I'm going to HAVE to do this!
